In 2010, Don’s daughter, Kristin Nason became a licensed investigator and joined the team. Together, the pair have continued to build The Nason Group with a network of associates and team members providing a wide range of investigation and process service needs.

Chief (Ret.) Seldon E. Nason Jr., Esq.
Chief Nason is a practicing attorney and 30 year veteran of the law enforcement, security, and investigation fields in New Hampshire. He worked his way through the ranks as a patrolman, sergeant, lieutenant and police chief. During his career, he spent 13 years as a police court prosecutor and was an adjunct instructor in juvenile law with NH Police Standards & Training. Don was a police firearms and simunitions instructor, police use of force instructor, emergency medical technician, and was trained as a hostage negotiator with the Central NH Special Operations Unit. Following his police career he was the director of security and EMS services for a major southern New Hampshire business. His investigation experience spans numerous topic areas, such as domestic violence, workplace fraud, felony criminal offenses, child abuse, sexual assault, workplace violence prevention and school violence response tactics.
Chief Nason has been appointed twice by Governor John Lynch, Governor Maggie Hassan and the NH Executive Council to the Investigative and Security Agencies Advisory Board and is the immediate past president of the NH League of Investigators
He obtained his associate's degree in Criminal Justice from NHTI and his bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science from Granite State College. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Law and is a licensed attorney, practicing business litigation, criminal and family law at his practice in Boston.
Kristin Nason, MBA, LPI, LPP
Kristin has 8 years of private investigation, security and litigation support experience. She earned her master’s degree in Business Administration through Plymouth State University. Kristin also obtained her bachelor’s degree with Plymouth State.
She is a sitting board member of the New Hampshire League of Investigators, providing guidance and management duties to the board and membership.
Ms. Nason specializes in skip tracing, surveillance and background investigations. She is also trained in private investigation strategies, security management, fugitive & asset recovery, process serving, missing persons investigations, case management and communications, and tactical use of firearms.
Beyond supervising office functions, scheduling and personnel, Kristin conducts security audits and details, investigations and interviews, serves process, manages case files and maintains client accounts.
